Moranbah is a relatively young town, purpose built to serve the coal industry. Historic Nebo and Clermont are also thriving thanks to current demand for coal, although their history is long and interesting. Located within 1 to 3 hours west & south/west of Mackay City, along the Peak Downs Highway — there is plenty to explore in the area.
